PRESS RELEASE

Few city residents can have a vegetable garden and enjoy the pleasure it brings.

But that was before.

Before The Urban Permaculture, a specialist in solutions for growing vegetables in urban environments, developed THE solution.

With its new semi-hydroponic urban vegetable garden kit - the Pbox -, it is now possible to grow aromatic herbs and leafy vegetables with little maintenance, little space, a reduced water usage and a minimal amount of substrate, all without having to repot!

Growing in the city becomes easy and efficient.

The Pbox: 2 versions, one and the same efficiency

Two years of research and development were necessary to launch this first semi-hydroponic, biodegradable, aesthetic and European urban garden kit.

Thanks to this system, growing food in the city, in the heart of your home, becomes simple and efficient.

No need to have a green thumb to quickly enjoy the flavors of aromatic herbs and other leafy greens that can be added to dishes and drinks.

From the urban garden to the dish in the blink of an eye, the semi-hydroponic urban vegetable garden kit will reconcile the most recalcitrant with Mother Nature.

Made of cork or recyclable and recycled plastic, the Pbox is delivered "ready to plant".

Available in cork, for 39,99 €, or in recyclable and recycled plastic for 29,95 €, each kit includes :

  • 3 biodegradable and sustainable pots ;
  • A QR code with instructions and tips;
  • Organic substrate in a biodegradable bag;
  • 3 varieties of organic seeds (basil, parsley, cilantro, green or red romaine lettuce, dill...)
  • 3 wooden sticks;
  • A beautiful reusable cotton bag (100% OEKO-TEX certified).

Once received, the urban gardener only has to follow the instructions and wait!

The garden invites itself in the urban citizens' homes.

The semi-hydroponic growing system developed by The Urban Permaculture allows to grow, even in small spaces, and without the need to repot or transplant: simple and effective.

The Urban Permaculture makes the culture in cities accessible to all the profiles and to all the budgets.

In this direction, it takes care scrupulously so that its range remains financially accessible without skimping on the quality of the marketed products.

Privileging a European approach in its step, The Urban Permaculture seeks to make the cities greener and healthier by betting on European, eco-responsible and durable products.

When producing more with less becomes possible, simple and accessible

Making cultivation accessible to small spaces and inexpensive, the semi-hydroponic system makes it possible to grow more with less: less space, less water, less soil and, of course, less maintenance.

The Urban Permaculture, noble commitments to humans and urban habitat

If, for The Urban Permaculture, the goal of greener and healthier cities is primarily the responsibility of policy makers, it is also the responsibility of each individual:

    "We must learn to use urban spaces, in a sustainable way, in our apartments, our buildings, our neighborhoods. With sensitivity, awareness and commitment, The Urban Permaculture seeks to strengthen the power of photosynthesis in our urban lives."

To do this, the firm stands firmly on 3 pillars.

First, working with the best European partners, bearers of ethical, sustainable and eco-responsible values.

Second, to constantly innovate and develop new, sustainable and unique materials.

Finally, we use organic and European seeds and substrates.

About Milena Vilaseca Malé, founder of The Urban Permaculture

Milena Vilaseca Malé, the founder

A convinced European, Milena has lived successively in several cities: Barcelona, Paris, Strasbourg, Edinburgh...

But it is in Berlin that she founded The Urban Permaculture.

During the first confinement, missing her vegetable garden in Barcelona, she experimented, with her family, a semi-hydroponic system allowing to grow aromatic herbs and leafy vegetables in the city center.

Quickly, her balcony became a small urban jungle.

Sharing this experience, first with her friends and family, then on Instagram, she decided to make this urban culture accessible to even more people.

This is the beginning of The Urban Permaculture adventure.
